Rocking on the Rooftop: Saturday 1 July 2017

Event Details

beatles-08We are proud to be part of the Great British tradition of doing gigs on rooftops.

OK, there was only ever one of note (The Beatles, Saville Row, 30 January 1969) but it was a very good one.

Unlike The Beatles’ gig, ours won’t be our last public performance – we hope. But it will be equally stupendous. In a different way.

There’s an amphitheatre on the rooftop of Oxford University’s Saïd Business School. And it is here that we will play, along with several other bands of note, in the wafting warmth, as the sun sets. Unless it happens to be pissing with rain, that is.

Oxford University_Said Business School-amphitheatreThe event is called ‘The Kids Are Alright’ and it’s a benefit with all profits going to Oxford children’s charities. Numbers are limited so get in there quick. Tickets are £10. Email us if you want some:

Remind yourself how brilliant that lunchtime in ’69 must have been: “This roof is quite high up so Don’t Let Me Down“.
